Book Reviews of Kane and Abel

Book Review: Engrossing till the end
Summary: 5 Stars

This is one of those rare books which I couldnt put down. The story telling across an entire generation is top rate. The characters Kane and Abel grow into you as you read and you almost want to step in towards the end and do something about it.

Jeffrey Archer is a great story teller and this book has made me determined to read up his other novels.

Strongly recommended.

Book Review: One of the best books I have ever read
Summary: 5 Stars

It was my first book by Jeffrey Archer. I was amazed by his story telling skills. The story makes you see the life from different angle and think of things that are really important. I was nearly shedding tears at the end (And I am not an overly sensitive guy trust me). Since then I've been reading more of Jeffrey Archer's books, but Kane and Abel still remains my favorit. I hope you enjoy it.

Book Review: This book put Archer on my favorite author list
Summary: 5 Stars

Archer is a great story teller and this book is one of his best. It is a classic tale but demonstrates that a good story line is a good story line, no matter how many times it has been told. Here a Polish immigrant and the son of a long-time Boston banking family develop an intense hatred for each other which lasts their entire lives and causes them pain and unhappiness.

Book Review: Extremely good!
Summary: 5 Stars

I won't go into the plot as everyone else has done an excellent job of that already. I will never forget it! Not a book that you can just write a review and let it go. This is a MUST read. I have given this book to everyone I know to read. If you only have one choice of a book to tell people to read, then it has to be this one.

Book Review: Haven't read it yet..

In the US version (St Martin's Paperbacks) , I found some wordings are different from the UK one (Pan Macmillan).

Like the third paragraph of chapter 1 , the US version reads 'The young hunter ...' while the UK one has this as 'The young boy ...'

Is it normal to have an editing from the UK version?
