this is by far the best book I have ever read. the book has absolutely everything in it....good vs. evil, rags to riches, politics, war, inspiration, redemption.
story could have happened today, and it was set over 70 years ago.
I highly recommend!

This is my favorite book of all times. I've read it about 5 or 6 times in the last 10 years and I enjoy it every time. A great story of two men being born under very different cirmustances and how their lives interwine throughout the book. This story was so well written that I could hardly put it down. If I had to promote only one fiction to someone who wanted to try reading fiction, I would say this book should stand out as memorable, but I would refer to some of the older 19th century authors first.
