Book Review: Really helped my score!

I originally took the GRE 5 years ago and received a disappointing score in the vocabulary section. Admittedly, I underestimated the difficulty of the test, and overestimated my vocabulary skills. When I took the test again about a month ago, I decided to use this product to prepare and it REALLY made a difference. By working with these flashcards I was able to improve my score by 160 points. Of course, these cards will only help if you put the time and effort into studying them, but honestly they are a great tool.Book Review: Not Useful on my exam

I memorized 400 + words in 3.5 weeks and only 10 out of the 500 were on the verbal portion of the GRE exam. The box shouldnt guarantee a higher score. Yes it increased my vocab but that did not help me. It was my second time taking the test. The first time I only studied for 2 days and the second time I studied for a month and memorized the Kaplan Vocab words and my score actually decreased from the first time I took the GRE. I want my time and money back.Book Review: Easy to use but not very durable

An excellent way to study your vocabulary for the GRE! The box is small enough that I can just pop it in my purse and break them out while waiting in line for coffee or in between classes. My only complaint is that the cards themselves are somewhat flimsy and cheaply made. Other than that, the content of the cards is very helpful. Also, carrying the cards around in the box is much easier than carrying another GRE study book so A+ for convenience!Book Review: Great but missing one feature I love

I love this product but haven't taken my GRE yet to know how well I will benefit from having it. I can say though that it would be nice to know where the root word was derived on the cards; Latin, Greek etc... Otherwise what I have done is separate out the words I don't know, in alphabetical order. I put holes in the top and those cards on a ring. I carry it with me everywhere I go. I study in short spurts whenever I can throughout each day.Book Review: Poorly made all around

These cards are poorly made. They are flimsy - not even made of card stock. They are small. I would probably have been happy with them if I had not also ordered the Barrons GRE study cards. These cards pale in comparison to Barrons - Barrons are heavier, they come with a ring so you can easily take some with you to focus your studies on, and they contain better word use practice on the back.
Save your money - go with Barrons.
