I was pleasantly surprised when I took the GRE to find that the words I studied in these 500 flash cards were on many of the test questions (and those words in the answer choices ended up being the right answer). I would definitely recommend this - it worked well for me and I wouldn't have been able to score near as high as I did without the flash cards.Book Review: kaplan should be ashamed

Buyer beware! Although the box says "2nd edition" beneath the title (only on the version w/ yellow text), these are the exact same cards as the "1st edition." I can't help but think that this is Kaplan's shameful attempt to prey upon students, who are desperate to do well on the GRE, by repackaging the same product and marking up the price. It's a sham!Book Review: Excellent product!

Decent box of vocabulary cards that have the pronunciation, definition, synonym and sentence on each card. The only drawback is that the cards are printed on flimsy paper so they can easily bend if not held properly. Other then that, I think they are a good learning tool for people who are too lazy to make their own vocabulary cards.Book Review: Fast and easy to assimilate

This vocab in a box is a sure on-the- go tool for improving your library of vocabulary for the arcane GRE words,
Cleared out the flash cards in a day multi tasking at the same time, and the more you go through it, the more the words sit.
only wish there were more than 500 words but hey it sure does its work.

These flashcards were extremely helpful in my GRE prep. I saw more than 5 of these words on the verbal section, and I had not known the definitions previously. The cards aren't anything special - they could be bigger, thicker, laminated, etc. But you save a bunch of time by not making them yourself! Excellent purchase.
