Book Review: A SOON TO BE CLASSIC!
Summary: 5 Stars
Kitten's first Full Moon is certain to become a new classic for the K and pre-K kid set. A departure from other children's books in that it doesn't rely on eye-jolting color's to catch your childs eye but rather it is drawn superbly in white, black, and shades of gray. Despite the lack of color, I found my two year old enjoying it very much and he was extremely attentive.
The book tells the story of a little kitten who sees a full moon for the first time in his life. She thinks it's a bowl full of milk and with humor and a lot of charm, proceeeds to try and get to that bowl by jumping, climbing a tree, etc. All very delightful. Just a great new kids book that I'm sure will be on bookshelfs for a long, long time!

I really liked this book because it took something that is a simple part of life and made it into a story. Sometimes we take things like a full moon for granted, and do not take into consideration what one might think if they did not know what it was, or if they used their imagination to dream about it. I thought that it was very clever. I liked the black and white illustrations. They really did an excellent job of not taking away from the story while adding to it at the same time. They were not distracting, but gave the reader a more clear understanding of the imagination behind this story and perhaps a glimpse into the view point of the kitten. I would definately reccomend this book to a friend!Book Review: Adorable

I was skeptical about this book because the illustrations are all black and white. I was afraid my two-year-old son would find it rather dull, but I couldn't have been more wrong - this is one of his favorites!
"Kitten's First Full Moon" is an adorable story of an unassuming kitten who mistakes the full moon for a little bowl of milk "just waiting for her." She never does figure things out, but due to exhaustion and frustration she finally gives up and returns home to a "big bowl of milk, just waiting for her."
I love the innocence of this story, and the illustrations are actually very charming and appealing.

Hi, my name is Sierra and I am 6 years old.
The Arthur of my book kitten's first full moon is Kevin Haneks. The part I like best is the kitten's wish comes true. This is how the story goes, kitten saw a little bowl of milk in the sky and she wanted it. Kitten sprang from the porch with all her might, only to end up pinching her tail, banging her head, and tumbling all the way down the stairs. This began her adventure and in the end Kitten was awarded with a little bowl of milk for herself.
This is a AWESOME book and I would recommend this to everyone.
