After reading and somewhat enjoying the first book in this series I found myself bored with this one. Why? Because everything is repetitive for the most part. Young girl does something wrong and is turned into sex slave. Young woman is whipped unmercifully, to such a point that if this weren't fiction, she would be scarred for life. Young woman becomes eager sex slave. Actually if all 3 books were combined and the young women abductions cut by one fifth this actually could have been a good story. Harry's own story would be very powerful if the author had concentrated on it. Actually the gonzo band gone wrong could have been compelling, but each segment of the story is so short and returned to so late that there is no cohesion to any of the books. Some of the BDSM scenes are well written when Harry is participating, otherwise they are boring at best. If all 3 books were combined into one and at least a third of the content edited out it would be a great book; as it is, it is boring.
