Book Reviews of Lifeguard

Book Review: Another best for Patterson
Summary: 5 Stars

The only complaint about this book is that I got no sleep, no housework done, no bills paid----all I could do was read this story from the first page until the end.It was impossible to put down. I loved the story about Ned, the lifeguard. It was the kind of story that grips you from the beginning and holds your interest the entire ride. I felt like I "know" the players and never wanted the story to end. I don't care if Patterson writes with another author as long as he continues to write fun stories such as this. Thanks for the entertainment. Now I must get back to my other life.

Book Review: Its About Time!
Summary: 4 Stars

I have been very disappointed with Patterson books lately. They seem too predictable and have been going down hill for some time. This one really was good. It held my interest. I think the fact that it has new characters and a fresh new twist helped alot. Not that I don't like Alex Cross and the Womens Murder Club, but I feel he has gone as far as he can with those characters, what else is left? Kill them ALL off in the final
I hope this is a glimpse of whats to come in the next book and a return to the Patterson I have come to enjoy over the years.

Book Review: Amazing! Patterson Has Yet to Dissapoint Me
Summary: 5 Stars

This is the story of Ned, an average lifeguard who is a part of a family with an interesting background. His father and other relatives are mixed up in some complicated crimes, and Ned was determined to stay clear of them. Actually, he walked right into the middle of one. While doing a "job" with family friends, Ned finds he is the only one alive. His new girlfriend, Tess, is gone too. Ned knows the police will draw a connection, and decides to make a run for it. Get ready for an adventure full of a lot of suprises in this excellent page turner by James Patterson.

Book Review: Better than average Patterson thriller
Summary: 4 Stars

Patterson writes so many books these days that none of them are an "event" or anything special. Still, this novel manages to stand out from the rest.

Ned Kelly is the main character on the run from the FBI for a crime he didn't commit (and a few that he did). The plot involves wealthy old men, stolen art, childhood friends and criminal past that comes back to haunt Kelly.

There are plenty of twists and turns and a satisfying, believable ending. My only complaint is the ease in which the FBI agent fell for a loser like Kelly

Book Review: Page-Turner
Summary: 3 Stars

This book, I've heard, is really similar to all his other books. I haven't read them, I have only read this one. This book is a murder, mystery, robbery book. It follows the main character from his job and a love affair to his run from the law. One of the main connections that I saw with is was Law & Order. This book followed the same theme of this popular show. It all starts with murder, the cops think it is one person, when really it is the person that seems the most helpful. I would still recommend this book, because it is a great book.
