Book Review: Great recipes and lots of them!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love that this book has a ton of recipes and plenty of them don't require extra equipment like a dehydrator. As far as facts and figures to show why eating raw is better I prefer my Timothy Brantley book. I like that it has lots of testimonials. Reading through them I was able to see certain things in other people that I see in myself and could adjust my diet through what they learned. This book is also great if you're looking for a specific plan and grocery list to get you started. Alissa actually has your first four weeks mapped out complete with recipes and grocery lists for each week. Over all, it's a great book and I'm glad I bought it. I refer to it often and use a lot of the recipes. The dessert recipes are awesome!

Book Review: Best raw food book I have found yet!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just recieved this book one week ago and I have read it cover to cover already. This is the best book you could purchase if you want a great introduction to the raw food lifestyle. The book is well written with wonderful illustrations and the recipes are fabulous. I never knew raw eating could be this delicious!

I was a little hesitant to purchase this book because of the price, but it was worth every penny. At 543 pages, it is packed with information and recipes. I wish I had purchased it before buying some of the other raw food cookbooks I own that I won't be using much anymore. And as an added bonus, when you are done reading this massive book, you can bench press it!

Book Review: Comprehensive Live Food Resource; healthy, delicious, quick and easy Raw Food Recipes and tips for all aspects of Live Food

This book is an excellent resource for New and experienced Raw Foodists. It covers:

Great alternative low carb natural sources are given instead of typical high carb processed foods. Low glycemic recipes suitable for diabetics like sea vegetable recipes, loads of other non-sweet recipes, and recipes using Agave nectar, a natural low-glycemic sweetener, are covered.

This is a big book with so much information all in one place. This resource shows that fresh fruits, vegetales, nuts and seeds areextremely healthy and can be extremely delicious too.

Book Review: Best Raw Food Lifestyle Introduction and Maintenance Book
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a lot (and I mean a lot) of raw food books. Here is why this book is so much better than others- which are good too but not as good as this one).

1. The first half of this hefty book details how to go raw- hints to be successful, tools that you need (and don't need) to be successful, food journals from people who have gone raw, week by week shopping lists and lots more, resources to contact and lots of personal testimonials too.

2. The second half of the book is filled with simple recipes that tast really good and do not require a Phd in UnCook to prepare.

3. There is a companion video available that shows you how.

Book Review: All my favorites come out of this book
Summary: 5 Stars

Living on Live Food has become my favorite recipe book. I've even had it spiral bound so it's easier to use. Try the Strawberry Crepes or the Sour Cream. The Calzones have become a favorite for special occasions. Most of the recipes are quick and easy and then there are the special ones. Like the Noasted Turkey or the Lasagne. They are incredible. And don't miss the beginning of the book, there is a whole book there with lots of stories of how other people went raw.
