Book Review: Maggie's Heart Left Me Wanting More

Maggie's Heart is a deeply moving collection of short stories tethered delicately by a golden thread of love and a lushly green thread of a gardener's memories. From the first page to the last, this volume gripped my heart, warmed my soul and kept me spellbound. It was impossible to put down this book until the end, and then, like every perfect book, left me wanting more. I hope to see Mr. Flynn's next collection as soon as possible. I will be waiting. I can only hope it won't be too long.
Summary of Maggie's Heart and Other Stories
The book contains 24 short stories which are about gardening and the author's life and career as a teacher. The stories are entertaining and inspirational. Many of them are true or are based on real life incidents. In each story, the reader will encounter an emotional uplift as he reads about how plants are part of the human experience.Many of the stories have been previously published in various magazines and books, notably A SECOND CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE WOMAN'S SOUL.
