Book Review: Best of the Best and the Original Freezer Cooking Cookbook

Note: If you order the newest Make-A-Mix cookbook, the one with the yellow cover, realize it seems to be the same book listed with the tan cover. If you already own the book with the tan cover then you will probably not need a new book unless you would like a back-up copy.
This cookbook is the grand daddy of all the freezer cookbooks and mix cookbooks now available. The cookbook gives recipes for both freezer and food mixes. Recipes are included on how to use the freezer or food mixes.
In actuality, this is the easiest and best cookbook for cooking ahead. As the mixes help speed up food preparation while offering flexibility. Something not found in the newer freezer cookbooks that suggest cooking 30 meals in a day and whatnot.
For example: You can prepare the Chicken Mix which is frozen in separate containers. Later you can defrost the Chicken Mix and add your remaining ingredients to vary the master recipe.

Another useful dry mix is the Quick Mix which can be used in recipes calling for Bisquick or Jiffy baking mixes.
