Having never really mastered the complexity of colour use, I find this book a revelation. Easy to follow, practical yet detailed, it opens one's eyes to the use of transparent watercolour. This book has been around for quite a time - wish I had picked it up earlier.Well worth the investment!

This book hit me like a thunderbolt. Finally (!) I understand why my watercolors were always muddy. I eliminated all but the transparent paints on my palette and what a difference...
