Book Review: Interesting, but glad I didn't spend money on it

I am glad that I checked this out from the library, as I was really only interested in the Sookie Stackhouse story, which was not very long or satisfying as it was. I wished it would have been as long as some of the other stories.
Bonus was that I got to read some other great authors that I had seen but not read before and some of their stories actually turned out to be more interesting to me than the Sookie one.

Charlaine Harris has proven that she is also a talented
editor. Unusual combination of birthdays and vampires,
true, but wild to see how different perspectives on the
same subject can be written. Wow, great srories! I'll
be finding new writters to enjoy since this book!

I loved the Sookie Stackhouse story in this book. If you have read all of the books and are looking for a Sookie fix this book will help. There is a good variety of stories that will keep you reading. Some stories are a little hard to get through, but the book is a good read as a whole. I 'discovered' Charlaine Harris Sookie Stackhouse books just last year, so was on a binge reading all the books as fast as I could get my hands on them! I started buying these short story collections after I got through all the novels and enjoyed this one for all the stories, not just the one I bought it for.
