After a long hiatus from school and years of working I was laid off from my job. I figured now was the best time for me to finally go back to school and earn my high school diploma. I read that there is a lot of money out there for folks going back to college and for training on new skills and trades. I was nervous about taking the GED mainly because I haven't been around these subjects in a very long time. This book has helped to quite the voice of doubt. The diagnostic test allowed me to see my strengthens (science) and weakness (social studies) and then study according to my needs. The answers and explanations were very clearly explained and easy for me to follow and see where I made my mistakes. I also really liked the additional practice tests provided on the CD. This book was a great buy for the money! I would highly recommend this book to anyone like me, anyone looking to finally get their GED!
