This a well written, concise book on the D700. The book goes into just enough detail for the above average user to master their D700. It is also small enough that you can pack it and take it with you wherever you go. I have really enjoyed this book since when I have a problem with my camera settings I will pull this book out and I will usually find the answer to my question. With this book I really learned to use my new Nikon D700 well. Though there is a good manual with the camera, reading the book, combined with the manual, learns you everything you need to know and even things you didn't know they excisted. I really recommend this nice book
