This series of Hawaiian travel books is by far the best ever! His brief history of Hawaii is the best, most interesting, and most thorough I've ever seen in so few pages.
Highly informative, accurate, well-illustrated, a pleasure to read, and filled with up-to-date information, much of which is not found elsewhere. Icing on the cake. Road information is very helpful. Restaurant descriptions are right on.
One of the few travel books I actually read cover-to-cover.
Get them all if you visit Hawaii!
