Book Review: Accessible and to the point

If you are like me, when you first encountered an explanation of how the Federal Reserve system works, you thought that you simply did not understand what was said. It sounds too crazy to actually work like that. If so, your initial instinct was correct, except that you actually did understand. It is crazy. It does not work, at least not for the bulk of us. It took years of reading dense tomes on economic theory for me to put it all together. Now we have a talented author in Thomas Woods who is able to boil that all down to its essentials in a language that is accessible to the casual reader. If you want to quickly get to the heart of the causes of recent economic events, and make sense of the incoherent blather in the mainstream media (left and right), read this book. Then loan it, or buy copies for your friends and family. Thanks Dr. Woods.
