Book Review: Memoirs of a Teenage Amneisac
Summary: 5 Stars

Think; your memory is gone. You can't remember the past four years of your life. What would you do?
In the book, Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin, a 17-year-old girl named Naomi Porter, finds herself in this situation. This funny yet inspirational story tells the tail of a girl that takes a fall that changes her life. With no recollection of ever going to high school she has to rebuild everything from new.
For me personally, I truly enjoyed reading this novel, it put a twist on the average realistic fiction book. The four main characters were all very different, which made the book lively and addicting. I couldn't put the book down! Naomi, one of the main characters happens to date the other three main characters, Will, Ace, and James. I favored Will, mostly because he was down to earth and low key.
I would recommend Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac mainly to girls beacuse its a love story with a pinch of head trauma, which makes for an amazing story.

Book Review: Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac
Summary: 5 Stars

In this book, Naomi Porter falls down a flight of stairs and hits her head. After the fall, she can't remember anything since sixth grade. She can't remember her best friend, her boyfriend, or her parent's divorce.

This book was definitely written in an intriguing way. From the very beginning, I was hooked. Gabrielle Zevin mixes in the perfect amount of mystery and romance throughout, and I thought that it was an enjoyable, yet thought-provoking book. The character descriptions were flawless, and I was kept guessing until the end. I wasn't sure what Zevin would bring to the story, because I was slightly disappointed with Elsewhere when I read it, but she pulled this book all off in an easy way that makes this novel a quick and easy read, but one that will not soon be forgotten.

Book Review: Really good book... well-written.
Summary: 4 Stars

I really like Zevin's writing, and this is no exception. Her protagonist is very real - she does well, but makes mistakes and is entirely a teenager. I was surprised at how well she functioned in school and among friends after having lost four years of memories, but that could be an accurate portrayal of these kind of amnesias - I admit that I don't know enough about them. Overall, a great book and an interesting topic - who are you when you can't remember the person you've become? Will you like yourself and your decisions? Will you want to be with the same person and have the same friends? It's an interesting book, and despite the protagonist making some foolish, very human decisions, I was rooting for her the whole time.

Book Review: The most romantic story EVER!
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this book. Gabrielle Zevin's Elsewhere was a great fantasy novel set in the afterlife, but this one is set in the real world and is just as great--maybe greater. Naomi is a wonderful character, but the characters I really love are the three boys. Ace is popular, a tennis star, and might be my favorite. But then James is so dark and mysterious, you can see yourself loving him. But of course you have to fall in love with Will, because he's so respectful and patient and he just adores her. This is a novel for people who love love stories, and for people who love great writing. I can't wait for Ms. Zevin's next book!

Book Review: Just OK
Summary: 2 Stars

I read it and I have to say it was just ok. I thought there were some interesting parts, but overall is was just boring. I got really annoyed with the main character, she really selfish and rude and I just couldn't like her no matter how hard I tried. I could have gone my whole life not reading this book and I would have been ok. But I did read it and now I will never read it again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Sorry
