Book Reviews of Memoirs of a Teenage AmnesiacBook Review: Eh. Summary: 2 Stars
I was REALLY excited for this book. It looked interesting and sounded like a neat idea. Through the beginning to middle I liked it, only thing was it felt like it didn't have to lead up to something big. I never thought 'wow i wonder whats going to happen!' in the end, it just ended. It seemed worthless. I did enjoy this book to an extent, but after finishing it it was nothing but a dissapointment. :(
Book Review: Good read Summary: 4 Stars
This book wasn't as great as Zevin's first book, Elswhere, but I still liked it. For a while I was getting sick of the main character's, Noami, lack of courtesy for others and she seemed to in a down ward spiral, but in the end it's a happy story, one I enjoyed reading.
[It touched lightly on sex (only a little) so if you are sensitive about that sort of thing, don't read this.]
Book Review: A fine story of discovery and change and will intrigue many teen readers Summary: 5 Stars
If Naomi had picked tails she wouldn't have had the accident which lead to her amnesia - but she didn't make the different choice. And now she doesn't remember her boyfriend, doesn't understand the jokes of her friends, and doesn't even know her family. MEMOIRS OF A TEENAGE AMNESIAC is a fine story of discovery and change and will intrigue many teen readers.
Book Review: memoirs of a teenage amnesiac Summary: 4 Stars
it was a good book, and had a good message of finding yourself and who you want to be. it shows a different side to what you might think your life might be like if you were a teenage girl who forgot everything that happened in the last 4 years of her life.
Book Review: Unforgettable Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first novel that I've read by Zevin and I wasn't disappointed. Funny, sad and powerful, MEMOIRS is a book I couldn't put down. If you're looking for a cliche-free read about love, life and understanding yourself, I highly recommend MEMOIRS.
