The writing is delighful and the book is quite informative - you'll probably learn quite a bit about the nobility of both beasts. The tone is overwhelmingly positive and this is a great 'field guide' will help anyone feel good about the various 'breeds' out there - whether they are looking for a mate or wishing to identify the one they have (or are!) Any dog lover (male or female) would appreciate this book, as it deeply respects this lovable, loyal animal while highlighting the distinctive qualities that each type embodies.
