Book Reviews of Men Are Dogs*: *In the Best Possible Sense!Book Review: Delightful, Informative and FUN Summary: 5 Stars
Men Are Dogs (In The Best Possible Sense) is a great gift book designed to highlight the best traits in men by comparing them to man's best friend. The writing is delighful and the book is quite informative - you'll probably learn quite a bit about the nobility of both beasts. The tone is overwhelmingly positive and this is a great 'field guide' will help anyone feel good about the various 'breeds' out there - whether they are looking for a mate or wishing to identify the one they have (or are!) Any dog lover (male or female) would appreciate this book, as it deeply respects this lovable, loyal animal while highlighting the distinctive qualities that each type embodies.
Gorgeous and colorful, loaded with great photos and is fully glossy - this is not a self-help book. Like the material inside, it's designed for lighthearted FUN. It's the PERFECT BOOK for anyone who wishes to appreciate the finer attributes of the male species!
Summary of Men Are Dogs*: *In the Best Possible Sense!Men come in just as many breeds as dogs
Girls, are you tired of always ending up with the wrong man? Maybe it's because women take more time picking out a dog than they do a boyfriend.
Men Are Dogs gives you everything you need to know about owning and keeping a man, including: --Why to get a man at all --Where to find one --Training a man --Maintenance, such as diet and exercise
Plus, you'll find out all about the 40+ different breeds you can get and how to identify the breed of your man.
For example, mongrels often make the most delightful companions, but they're not as predictable as some of the purebreds. Working men are among the most cuddly, but watch out you don't get a bully, or worse, a spineless yes-man. Meanwhile, hounds and sporting men are among the most fun-loving and playful, but can lack responsibility. (And some special breeds, like male models, are actually cats).
[Can this go in a sidebar?] Here's what you need to know about a specific breed, the Saluki (picture Johnny Depp!): The Saluki is slim, high-steping and elegant. He is a hunter by nature, despite his elegant, almost feminine beauty. His ability to outrun his competition allows him to take advantage of situations a more sluggish man would avoid, such as sleeping with your sister, or murmuring into the ear of the boss's wife at the office Christmas party. The Saluki has an old soul, as the breed has been around for thousands of years. They're hard to catch but worth it if you aren't the possessive type!
