Book Review: Book Quality

This is not a review of Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis was a genius.
This is on the quality or better yet the lack of quality of the manufacture of this book; the paper is the cheapest grade imagineable,the binding is also very low grade, and to top it off the publisher didn't cut the pages evenly.
I thought for the price they were charging the paper and binding would be of good quality, needless to say I was greatly mistaken.
Buy a paperpack edition from another publisher, you'll get a much better made book and save money at the same time.
Book Review: A Fresh Look at an Old Classic

Some clear aspects of Lewis' journey to faith are seen in this timeless testimony to God's grace in today's secular swindle. As the title suggests, the author's target reminds me of that old camera I carried with a wide angle lens attachment. He accepts a large and varied audience and links them together as "Christian". In the end, however, much like his mentor Chesterton, he comes back to the basic Creeds as they emerge from Biblical truth. A worthy read for one honestly searching for truth in an age of fruitless reason without the joy and peace of God.Book Review: ATTENTION ALL THINKERS, ATHEIST OR CHRISTIAN!!!

... The fact that so many people see this book as truth or nonsense can state one fact:Somebody (atheist or christian) is right, and somebody is wrong. There is nothing else. This simple experiment proves a great divorce between the two beliefs. There is either no God in the form of the Trinity and this book is "gobble", or it is right and there is a God of love but love with justice (for there is no love without justice or pain). I beg you to see the two sides no matter what your belief. In the end, all will see the answer and have nowhere to hide.

I would recommend the whole wide world to read this awesome book!C.S. Lewis is incredible, and by far my favorite author. This book describes the seemingly obvious yet not so obvious problems of humanity. It perfectly explains those feelings and thoughts we all have but can't seem to find the words to place on them. If you know anyone who's intellect gets in the way of them accepting the idea of Christianity as a whole, give them this book. I adore C.S. Lewis. This is a book that should be read by anyone who loves God. It's brilliant.Book Review: More Meaningful at 48 Than at 18

I have just finished re-reading this short, powerful book, which was first given to me by my father on my 18th birthday. At the time, it struck me as eminently logical, extraordinarily well written, and a more powerful nudge toward Christianity than all my prior religious education. What a wonderful gift!What was true then is even more so now,after thirty years. Nowhere else (save in the Bible itself) is a more eloquent exposition of Christianity's basic tenets presented. It will be less than thirty years before I read it again.
