Book Review: Great book for a budding Chef

This book is a very good book, but not for someone who wants to just throw something together quickly. It's got some very sophisticated recipes and some quite complicated. All-in-all, it's a very good book, but if you're a cook and not a chef; I would look for something a bit simpler to cook from. this was a gift for my sister; she was quite happy with it. the shipping was fast and convenient (saturday shipping), but the pages were warped like paper gets when it gets wet, then dries. it wasn't too bad though, and the cover was perfect.Book Review: More inspiration per ounce than much I have read lately

It just recently went up to $31.50. Why such a big increase? I would pay $20 but not $31.50
