Book Review: Diggin' that sexy Latino vibe!!
Summary: 4 Stars
Well I, for one, really enjoyed this book. I do love a dark, brooding, tormented hero, and Lara Adrian delivered him in spades! The chemistry between the hero and herione is hot and I loved the initial meeting of the two. (Very intense!) She does a great job of painting a picture of the tragic Rio, the once beautiful but still ultra-sexy spanish warrior. I could just hear that accent coming out of his mouth as smooth as warm caramel! Very sexy!! I was well and truly riveted the whole time!
However, what kept me from giving this book a five star rating was the same problem I had with Dante and Tess's story. She rushed it too much. Are the publishers giving her a page limit or something? She could have easily tacked on another 100 pages and it wouldn't have been too long! I felt that she did a much better job with Lucan and Tegans stories in regards to fleshing out her characters better. But still, a must read for fans of the series! Can't wait for the next one!
