Book Reviews of Midnight Rising (The Midnight Breed, Book 4)

Book Review: Another great book!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is about Rio, the vampire who ended up half burned and half crazed by the betrayal of his Breedmate. In this book he meets with Dylan, a Breedmate who sees ghost and sees the ghost of Eva, Rio's dead Breedmate, who asks of her to rescue Rio.

The book is very much in the style of Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series, and I loved it. The only thing that I would like is that when Rio talks in Spanish the Spanish was well-written, because it had some flaws.

Book Review: Didn't like it.....
Summary: 2 Stars

I didn't like this one. I felt that it, "the romance" , was too fast. I like Rio and Dylan, just thought this was a rushed story. By favorite of this series was Midnight Awakening (Tegan's story), than Midnight Kiss (Lucan's story) and finally Kiss of Crimson (Dante's story). Midnight Rising was less than okay. I felt like I wasted my money on this one. But, I will not give up. I still have hope for Book 5.

Book Review: Greatly Written
Summary: 4 Stars

Coming from J.R. Ward's "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" to reading Lara Adrian's "The Breed Series" I saw some similarities to the stories. However, towards the end of the series it captured me. I am able to say that the emotions these century old vampires are able to finally feel after being alone for so long are immense. Lara captures that concept greatly. I give her a thumbs up to allowing both sides of the tale.

Book Review: Could have been better
Summary: 3 Stars

Compared to the others, this one was a little disappointing. I think the love story between Rio and Dylan was too rushed, one little instance with the bad guy and then I turned the page and the story was over and it was like "What???". This could have been a really good one with Rio being betrayed by Eva and so forth but it was to rushed and boring. Hopefully Niko's story will be just as good as the first 3.

Book Review: Boring and contrived
Summary: 2 Stars

The Formula has gotten old. I could not wait to read Rio's story after reading Tegan's story. I was starting to really like this series although it is a BlackDaggerBro.Hood Rip-off. It was a pretty good Rip-off. But she bored me with the heroinne what's-her-name and Rio's Alphaness never really came to fruition. Do Better Ms. Adrian. Also, that fake wanna-be-Butch-Cop was a douche in this book.
