I have an 8 yr. old and once she was finished reading her book; she wanted to go and buy some of those lupines seeds. She wanted to do the same as Miss. Rumphius. Of course, How could I tell her? Those seeds could not grow here in Florida...Book Review: OK

There is a handful of books that I have gotten my children that I will keep forever, and this is one of them. It is a sweet, meaningful story of beauty, and a well-lived life. I am on my way to buying more of Cooney's books.
