Book Reviews of More-With-Less CookbookBook Review: My favorite cookbook Summary: 5 Stars
I was first given this book in 1979 by a Mennonine friend in London. It eventually fell to bits with overuse and my children still have wonderful memories of the recipes nearly thirty years on. I can now use the recipes when cooking for my grandchildren. It's by far the best cookbook I have owned.
Book Review: Best Cookbook I Ever Lost and Now I Found It Again! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased the first edition years ago. During many moves across country it was lost and I couldn't remember the name even though I had used it all the time. Now once again I can enjoy the wonderful recipes. If you like a great tomato soup this is the place to find it!
Book Review: favorite cookbook Summary: 5 Stars
I have been very pleased with this cookbook. It is one of my favorites. The recipes are simple and it teaches a lot about cooking basic foods that are great. This book has great recipes but is also an excellent tool for teaching you how to cook for your family.
Book Review: Oh wow! Summary: 5 Stars
I didn't realize this book had been reissued! I originally bought this book back around 1980 and still have it. The "companion" book, "Living More with Less" is excellent too, but might be a bit outdated. I recommend both!
Book Review: More With Less Summary: 5 Stars
The book arrived in better condition than was described. It was a nice surprise to discover that it includes protien values for a vast number of foods. This will take the guess work out of cooking for a high protien diet.
