Book Reviews of Mortal Sins (World of the Lupi, Book 5)Book Review: Excellant book in the genre Summary: 4 Stars
Nicely written with a good story and plot complexities. Well developed characters nicely done with a couple surprises, but not out of character.
Can be read stand alone, but missing the other books in the series would miss some very good reads.
The seemingly obligatory sex is tastefully handled and not obtrusive. Unfortunately some authors have gotten a bit obsessed like LKH and don't really pull it off well at all like Master of the Night or Interstellar Service & Discipline: Victorious Star.
A excellent read not unsuitable for mature teens but still an adult book with real character development and plot; not at the graphic novel level.
Book Review: Excellent story line Summary: 4 Stars
I've had mixed feelings about this series by Eileen Wilks. I thought book one was really good, book two good but confusing, book 3 & 4 just ok. This book went back to the quality of the first book. The storyline was really compelling. I was into the mystery of who was controlling the killers and then she threw in the child custody plot (although I have to say that the resolution of that was a little too neat). I found the book very engaging and am looking forward to the next one.
Book Review: Best series in paranormal fantasy I've read, and I read alot! Summary: 5 Stars
I read alot of books in this genre. My two favorite authors are Eileen Wilks and Patricia Briggs, so I am baffled as to why more people don't read this series. I disagree with the previous reviewer these books are wonderful, but not really stand alone. They build on one another so I suggest you read Tempting Danger, Mortal Danger, Blood Lines, and Night Season before Mortal Sins.
Book Review: Mortal Sins Summary: 5 Stars
The whole "World of the Lupi" series is great reading. Eileen Wilks is one of my favorite authors and she pulls off another great book in Mortal Sins. She's got great character development and they're all so different from each other. I look forward to everything she writes.
Book Review: Wonderful return Summary: 4 Stars
Returning to the original couple Agent Lily Yu and Rule, this felt like a nice homecoming. This book did a good job of interweaving the personal stuff with an engaging mystery. This is certainly one of my favorite paranormal series and I look forward to the next one.
