I purchased several potty training books through Amazon.com for our 2-year-old, and this was the book that ended up being exactly what I was looking for. It's descriptive of the process in the right level of detail, entertaining and interesting to him, and it's clear to me that he's beginning to understand what we're describing to him. This was a great purchase. My son really likes this book. It goes into great detail, which I think is necessary. I can tell it has made a big impression on my two-year-old. He wants to go just like "Michael". You will have to read this book to know what I mean by that... This is such a cute book, and it touches on some good potty training issues, like the fact that it takes some time & practice, and sometimes accidents happen. It's a little long, though; although my 2-year-olds usually hang in there, it tests their attention span at times. Overall, I think it's one of the better potty training books I've seen.Book Review: Great for getting toddlers interested in potty training

My 22mos old son loves this book, and it's been his number one requested book for weeks now. It's informative for the child by describing all the stages and steps of potty training and potty usage in simple language. My son gets very excited when Michael goes pee-pee and poop in the potty and also when he gets his big boy underpants.Book Review: Nice Book but Son Hated it!

Not sure why but my son LOVES ALL BOOKS besides this one. I am not sure if it's because he does not want to hear anything about potty training or he just didn't like the book was kind of long. You see my son has no patience when it comes to books, so it better get to the point with some awesome graphics, which this did not .
