I purchased this book to help teach my children an important spiritual discipline - reading and reflecting on God's Word each day. There was only one problem - they loved the stories so much, they didn't want to put the book down until they had read them all. I highly recommend this book for several reasons. 1) the message translation is easy for young readers. 2) the questions, prayers and activities associated with each story help parents explore the bible with their children and help children understand how the scriptures are important today.
