This bible just came in the mail today, and my first impressions are that it looks great. The two tone leather makes a great combination, and is one of my favorite colors when they come together, also the markings in the leather make it very cool. I am in my teens, and I ordered this bible kind of quickly, before realizing that it is geared towards younger kids. This is not a major problem, and the included things could only help you to grow closer to God. The things that are included are twelve color pages teaching kids how to be more like Jesus, and everyone can still learn from these. There is a very helpful table in the back, that gives you the verse, and page number of where things are, such as the Lords Prayer, or where to find all the miracles that Jesus performed. The Bible has a very nice ribbon marker, and this comes in handy when working your way through a book, or the whole Bible. Words of Christ are in red, which I find very helpful. The edges of the Bible have very nice looking gold on them. The Bible is very small, and is easy to be carried in a backpack or other things. The print is small, but should pose no problem to anyone who is young, but if you are aging, then it is not recommended. The amazon description does not tell the size, but it says on the publishers web site that the font is around 6.5 pt. If you are not sure whether or not you would be able to read this, make a word document, and print it out using 6.5 pt font. Before buying this Bible, make sure that you research which one of the translations you like the best. The two that I would recommend are the ESV and the NIV, which this Bible is. The only thing that I don't like about the NIV is that they change some things unnecessarily like how the part in the Lords prayer that says "for thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever, amen." is completely removed. Overall this is a great backpack Bible, great for kids, and teens alike. If you are wondering where to start, when you get this Bible, the best place to start is the gospel John.
