Book Review: Women of Honor Ministries

I have found this Bible to be very informative and enlightning. I am very involved in Ministries targeting women and it is good to walk through the Bible that addresses the issues that women may or do have. It is uplifting to read about the contributions that women have made in the advancement and uplifting of God's kingdom and his Saints. I have several Women's Bibles and have found this to be a companion to Bibles, such as, True Identity Women's Study Bible.
I strongly recommend this Bible for women who have or are involved with women ministries or who would just like to have a women's perspective concerning God's will for her life.
My disappointment is that I believed I was ordering the purple leather bound Bible. I received the black leather bound. I believe that Amazon should give their customers a color option. I believe most women relate to colorful Bibles in lieu of the traditional black.
Book Review: Everything is PURPLE about this Bible!

I bought the purple leather edition, and everything is purple about this Bible. The cover, the satin ribbon marker and the typed words even have a purple hue. The page edges are edges in silver. Not only is the Bible beautiful,there are Character Sketches of 80 women in the Bible, Study notes (1700), Quotes , and 52 weekly Bible Studies that are the same as the Young Women of Faith Bible for girls 8-12. They just do into more dept in the Adult version. This is extra nice, because both Mom and daughter can study the same theme at the same time--each in a way that they can relate to. This is truely a Bible for women. I bought the Young Women of Faith Bible for my girls and they love theirs too.Book Review: Purple vs. Black Bonded Leather

I was admiring my daughter in laws Book on Vacation and I just had to have one of my own. I enjoy reading the bible but this makes it much like a story book reading and the side inserts really gave you something to think about from the lessons.Book Review: not the purple one
