Practical introduction to NLP, with insight not only in origins and creations of NLP but how it is applied in almost every situation. The imagery excercises detailed in the book allow the reader to come away from reading the book, with a solid knowledge of NLP, practices, and use, as well as tools for teaching and mentoring others to use these approaches as well. Though NLP doesnt profess to solve all problems, it does help to identify thinking structures to allow all readers to come away from reading this book, better than when they started.Book Review: great introduction to NLP

Wanted to learn about NLP and was recommended this book by a friend. I found it to be a very good introduction, which gave me a good taste of the basic techniques and "tricks."
Still working with everything to get a good grasp on it. Too early to tell if it will work on others (or work on me). However, I did learn what I set out to learn, so I feel this is a five-star book for that reason. If you are like me and looking for a good introduction to NLP, this is a book I would highly recommend.
Book Review: I liked the beginning but it faded out at the end

The first part of the book is amazing, the part where it explains how nlp started and gives a few examples of how the brain works. But it becomes too goal oriented, like what do you want to do with your life? This part bothered me because I didn't want to find my meaning on earth, I just wanted to develop tools for my every day life.
It's just the way the subjects were brought that bugged me but there are good topics covered in that book and I recommend it.

Book Review: One of the best books on NLP that includes A LOT of useful exercises.

This book is great in that it not only explains some of the basics of NLP but it also includes 43 different exercises to do while you are reading the book. Most of these exercises can be done quickly and have been, for me, generally quite effective. These exercises are not easy to find online, so it's nice to have them compiled in one place here. For the price of a paperback it's hardly a question as to whether or not you should buy this book, especially if NLP is something that interests you.Book Review: 8 out of 10

I recommend this book on a scale of 8 out of 10, i bought this book for research (after overhearing what NLP stands for, the name was intriguing) on a quality certification i was doing for my company.
It has helped me and other members quite a bit on our day to day activities,behavior and interaction, other members "did not get it" or were afraid of personal change in a how to format, some of the exercises were complicated and lacked motivation, some more examples would be helpful.
