Book Reviews of Night Game (GhostWalkers, Book 3)Book Review: Probably more like 3.5 stars! Summary: 3 Stars
"Flame" Johnson has a secret, and while trying to remain in hiding, she finds herself fighting her attraction to the very sexy, rugged, Special Forces agent, Gator Fontenot. As they both learn to trust each other, Flame learns the origin of her destructive powers, and struggles with the knowledge that her destiny may be already written in stone. Fighting to accept his growing feelings, Gator sets out to protect Flame at all costs. However, the question that always in front and center for Flame is "Is Gator what he appears to be"? Or "was he sent to bring her back to the man she most fears"? And finally, "Is the evil Doctor Whitney, who created them both, still alive and shaping their futures, not just their pasts"? Over all, this was an easy read, and I would like to see more of the ghostwalkers in the future.
Book Review: HOT SPICEY AND SWEET THIS CAJUN GUMBO REALLY BOILS Summary: 5 Stars
Hot, Spicy and sweet sums up this latest offering by Christine Feehan. Clearly her skill as an author is growing by leaps and bounds and we readers are the grateful recipients of her efforts. Cajun honey and hottie Gator has returned to the city of his birth New Orleans to find a missing girl and attempt to bring home the most dangerous of Dr. Whitney's enhanced daughters Flame. In a category all her own Flame steals your heart and makes you wonder if she can be saved in the same breath. Gator strong on devotion and sex appeal is the perfect man to capture the elusive Flame. The two evenly matched in power and wit make you sit on the edge of your seat, laugh like a loon, and cry like a baby. To say I loved this book does not say enough, RUN RUN TO THE BOOK STORE NOW
Book Review: Who's your favorite Ghostwalker??? Summary: 5 Stars
Thought it was Jess Calhoun, but after reading Night Game--it is Gater or (Raoul) hands down! I absolutely love Flame as well! The cajun charm--was so enjoyable...and gater was nothing if he wasn't charming, and protective and very clever!
I felt so bad for Flame, here life had been rough--but there were times during the reading that I felt she could have taken some precautions against being hurt--bruised and torn up. The fact that she had cancer and it was out of remission should have made her less willing to endure pain--should have made her more cautious--but this is fiction,, after all!
I simple loved the fact that Gater kept getting excited over the knieves Flame carried, and Flame kept referring to him as a Perv! LOL!
Book Review: Awesome!!! Hot spice Cajun Style Summary: 5 Stars
Bravo Mrs. Feehan.
This book was awesome. I have read every single book by CF including all of the Ghostwalkers/Game books. This is by far the best in the Game series and has replaced my favorite in the Carpathian series. You see glimpses of Gator, the Ultra sexy Cajun in the prevous game books, but there are no hints to prepare you for him in this book. Awesome. Alpha. And Flame, she is my favorite female of all of the Feehan Females so far. She is strong, sexy, vulnerable, pig-headed-but-understandable and BAD. This books opens up a whole new mess of possibilities. Poor Lily. This series has just been taken up a notch. The book is fast paced, romantic, sexy, erotic, maddening and so damn good I guarantee you will Not put it down.
Book Review: Go, Gator! Summary: 5 Stars
Finally! We finally get to Gator's story - my personal favorite in the DreamWalkers series (#3). Charming, sexy, and easy-going, as is usual for a N'awlins Cajun, Gator returns to his hometown to help his family friends search for a missing girl - but he is also on a mission from Lily: find Flame. Sparks fly when Gator & Flame meet - putting it mildly. Neither is the type to easily trust, yet their surroundings and circumstances force them to work together. Both know that the end will be near - for both of them - if they don't find they answers they need quickly. I have been enjoying this romantic suspense/paranormal series - I like the humor along with the psychic possibilities.
