Book Reviews of Night Game (GhostWalkers, Book 3)Book Review: Amazing! Summary: 5 Stars
This is the first Ghostwalker novel (another super market find,) that I've read but I could not believe how WELL WRITEN and involving it was when I was finished. As I've said recently, Christine Freehan has come into her prime as a writer and I look forward to her future publications.
This story was complex, emotive, steamy, fascinating, and thought provoking. Her depth in character developement has sky-rocketted since her earlier writings and I was greatly impressed with this novel. I not only enjoyed the story cover to cover, but I was literally beside myself with pride for the writers progress as an author.
Book Review: WOW Summary: 5 Stars
Gater is a wonderful character. He is the kind of man that makes a womans mouth water. Night Game is a book that can be re read and enjoyed each time. This is the best book in the Ghost Walker series. I can't wait for the next one...Each book has gotten better and better. This book almost sets the pages on fire. How could the next one be any hotter.
The mind of Feehan creates the kind of man every woman dreams of. And Gater is almost perfect.
This is a great read with wonderful characters, very vivid setting of the bayou and great images of the other "stuff".
Book Review: Adult Reading ONLY no one under 18 XXX Rated Summary: 1 Stars
It is so very sad when an excellent writer feels he/she must add blantant sex scene's (you can go to and adult book store if you need sex books), in order to expand their audience. There was such a good story here, why ruin it by talking about a dripping shaft and other sexual phenomena. If the writer had put in the romance and left out the more than VIVID sex scene's this would have been a 5 star book. As it is I can't donate this book to a library where a person under 18 could read it. So I wasted my money and have to throw the book in the trash. What a great story to bad it was ruined
Book Review: Over and Over Summary: 1 Stars
This book had some promising moments early on. The sequence where Flame steals from the local bad guy and tracks Gater back to his house was the best of the whole book. After that we went round and round with mostly background filler. The explanations of "enhancement" are given in every chapter. Yes, we get how Flame thinks Whitney is still alive and she's never going back. Wait, tell me again. Sorry, couldn't finish the book which is too bad cause I love a good series. I suggest the Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R.Ward & early Anita Blake by Laurell Hamilton.
Book Review: Doin The Bayou Boogie Summary: 5 Stars
This is one of the best Ghostwalker Stories so far...Christine Feehan is by far the Best Paranormal Author of this Genre. Her descriptions and story telling ability give you the groundwork for the imagination needed to visualize the movie in your mind. It is a Book you can't put down and one you definately keep coming back to. All of her stories are fantastic so it's hard to say any one is better than the other...if you're smart you will do like me and just start buying everything with her name on it. Her books are keepers and you will read them again and again.
