I found the owner's manual for my D200 very confusing so I taught myself how to use it. Being I started in 73 with a Minolta 101, I didn't have much trouble learning the basic camera operation. Found this guide to be lacking in a lot of areas. It has got the benefit of color images. However, I found the Magic Lantern Guide for the D200 to be much more comprehensive, easier to follow and also much easier to find answers to any questions I had. There isn't much about this little guide to dislike. It's clear, concise and ultra easy to follow. Not only that, but it's a great size - you can stash it in your camera bag and carry it with you! I'm a dSLR newbie, so this wee guide was a relief. Loving it. Buy it.
