I bought this with my D40 and it is much easier to read (and more user-friendly) than the manual that comes with the camera. It has great diagrams and examples, and the section on shooting in different situations is helpful.Book Review: Great Book

Quite simply, if you have this camera, you need this book. Straightforward, easy to understand, and informative. A good dose of "why" to go with the "how"...perfect for a beginner or more advanced type.
