Book Review: A good book for $10, but doubtful if it is worth more
Summary: 3 Stars
This book was useful for very general information, however a good bit of the information is freely available elsewhere (e.g. the Internet). The nicest thing about a book like this is that you feel that the knowledge within is more "certified" or more "professional" than the knowledge available online, as it is coming from a professional in the field.
The drawbacks of this book, however, are the poor editing which resulted in numerous typos and grammatical mistakes, giving the book a sloppy appearance. Hence, why I think the book would be worth perhaps $10, but not the full cover price of $14.95. I learned a little bit more than I all ready knew on the subject of carpal tunnel, but the book did not provide enough information as to make me feel that I did not need more resources. It is a fairly decent introduction to the topic of office ergonomics, but it will definitely leave you requiring further literature on the subject in order to gain more knowledge and insight into carpal tunnel and repetitive stress injuries.
