Book Reviews of On the LineBook Review: Beautiful coffee table book Summary: 4 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Although this has nice seafood recipes in the second part of the book. It is more of a coffee book detailing the inner workings of Le Bernardin. The book is well written and beautifully presented.
Book Review: AMAZING!!! Summary: 5 Stars
With years in fine dining myself, I can honestly say this book has taken the place of "The French Laundry Cookbook" as my most influential book of all time. Ripert, La Coze and the entire staff of "Le Bernardin" are of a caliber that stands alone as the ultimate hosts of grace, etiquette and respect. They are wholly committed, and as a result, this books shines as a beacon that all culinarians should aspire to in their careers.
Book Review: Right...on the line! Summary: 5 Stars
What a great book! .On the Line
Chock full of interesting tidbits, about the Restaurant business, from in the know Restauranteur Eric Ripert. Several recipes are included. A great gift for anyone! It's one of those books you will pull out to read again and again!

Book Review: amazing Summary: 5 Stars
this book is one of the best books i've read. gives you all the insides of how the New York restaurant works from day to day. Gives you information on who does what and gives you complete understanding. I read the book front to back. I love the pastry chef! A few recipes are included too, which have turned out beautifully. Lots of great pictures and great information.
Book Review: Disapointing Summary: 3 Stars
What I wanted was a book like Heat, a real in-depth look at the kitchen of a restaurant where I could get a feeling for the people who worked there and the stories that made it interesting.
What I got was a cold 140-page brochure for how Le Bernardin is an awesomely well-oiled machine, followed by a poorly organized cookbook.
Disappointing.
