Book Review: A Very Special Story
Summary: 5 Stars
In March of 2009 we were presented with a precious gift of twin girls. My granddaughters were born at 35 weeks and needed to be in the Neo-natal ICU. Rebecca, the oldest one, struggled so when she was born to take even a small breath and was placed in the more serious NICU. When she was three days old the doctors said they didn't believe she would make it because her lungs just weren't responding. We placed her in our Heavenly Father's hands as family, friends and others prayed for her. I found this book in the NICU library and sat down and read it to her as we spent some special time with her that day. We got our miracle and she began to respond and was out of danger the very next morning. When I saw this book on Amazon I had to purchase it. I had the marvelous opportunity to read it to her the first night of a recent visit over the holidays. She had been fussy that evening and was having trouble getting settled. I took it out and she crawled up in my lap and Nanna read it to her. She calmed down and let me rock her until she was sleepy. As you might imagine, I would recommend this book to anyone. Later that week I read it to all three of my grandchildren and their mommy decided it will become a family tradition for Nanna to read this book whenever she comes to visit. What a pleasure to read
such a lovely book to my precious grandchildren.
