Book Reviews of On the Night You Were BornBook Review: great for baby's bookshelf Summary: 5 Stars
Ive received several baby shower invites over the last couple of years that ask for a "book for the bab's bookshelf". I love this book because it has great pictures and tells the child that on the night he/she was born the whole world celebrated. When the child is a little older and you read them the story, it even asks you to "wiggle your toes" and other small directions that are fun because the book becomes interactive. Fun book :)
Book Review: Beautifully Illustrated Book Celebrating Birth of Child Summary: 5 Stars
This is a beautiful book, all about how the entire world celebrated the night that the child reading the book was born and how very special that child is. I particularly like giving it to friends of mine who, like me, adopted their children. I feel like it's important for adopted children to know early on that they, like everyone else in the planet, were BORN. They didn't just appear, like magic, in their adoptive parents' arms.
Book Review: On the Night You Were Born Summary: 5 Stars
Wonderful Book. I gave this book to my Newest Grandson on his 1st birthday and included a personal letter to him. Though he is way to young to read it his Mom & Dad love the gift and thought and read it everynight to him. They say they'll keep it forever and pass it on to him when he has children of his own.On the Night You Were Born
Book Review: A perfect gift Summary: 5 Stars
With 2 new grandchildren born just a few months apart, I now buy double of everything. However, to get the best price for this book, it was necessary to buy 3. I am attending a baby shower next week and rather then bringing a card we are asked to bring a book for the baby-to-be. so the 3rd purchase works out fine.
The book is beautifully done. The art/illustrations and words make this a treasure to be enjoyed.
Book Review: On The Night You Were Born Summary: 3 Stars
I ordered this book for my granddaughter, who will have a baby sistere born into the family soon. I wanted her to know that she was important, and that we all remember how excited and happy we were when she was born.
I found the book to be just a bit too "cutsie". I was hoping for something that would be me personal to a small child. Instead, it emphasized how the whole world celebrated on the day she was born.
