I have recently gotten back into growing orchids and had forgot everything I ever knew. I ordered 3 books from Amazon.com (to go along with 4-5 I already had but the "Orchids for dummies" was better than all the others put together. It has so much information beginning with buying the orchids to carring for them properly. I have only had it a couple of weeks ad already I can see some changes in my orchids. A very good buy for the orchid enthusiastist.Amazon always has what I need and I feel safe and comfortable ordering from then.Book Review: Informative book

This book doesn't have many pictures of orchids but it does have a lot of good, basic information. I have and use several books including Ortho's All About Orchids and Complete Guide to Orchids and Rittershausen's Growing Orchids. I've learned from all of them. Orchids for Dummies has suggestions that none of the others have. It also has a good index.Book Review: Five star beginner

This book is excellent and its title does not hide anything. If you're a dummy about orchids this book will give you everything you need to get through that dummy stage. It gives preferences, growing conditions and a step by step to make sure any orchid you have can have a healthy and fulfilling life. I found this book to be very helpful as a new Orchid lover. It is easy to read and has alot of information. Anyone can grow Orchids if they follow this book. Helpful tips, funny quotes and easy to understand makes this book a delightful read. I highly recommend it.
