Book Reviews of Organic Body Care Recipes: 175 Homeade Herbal Formulas for Glowing Skin & a Vibrant SelfBook Review: Great Natural Body Care Education Summary: 5 Stars
I know a Natural Body Care Recipe book is great when it teaches me things I didn't know. I have my own business making natural body products, and I have tons of books like this for ideas and references. I think you really do need to be experienced to use a lot of the recipes, but there are a lot of at home recipes too using things you may already have around the house like strawberries, baking soda, papayas, etc.
This book is educational, full of great useful information, and easy to understand. I love it!
Book Review: Awesomely Wonderful and Organic Summary: 5 Stars
I definitely give this book some extremely high marks. This is definitely one of the best books on crafting your own bodycare recipes. It's filled with pages of wonderful information and wonderful organic and easy to make recipes, that you can try in the comfort of your own home. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to make their own bodycare produts, and even to those who already do know how to make their own products. This book is a wonderful addition to any library.
Book Review: User Friendly Summary: 5 Stars
This book is straightforward and user friendly making it a great gift for yourself or to give to someone.
Ingredient lists are kept short with variations to make simple, effective, and fragrant products using essential oils. It is not an defining authority on aromatherapy it doesn't make that claim, but finally there's a way to have organic body care easier. It doesn't have to be overwhelming you don't need an expensive seminar to begin making products that will suit your needs.
Book Review: Organic Body Care Recipe Review Summary: 4 Stars
I received this book as a gift from my friend who knows how into organic food, hair care, and body products I am. I have tried several of these recipes and found them to be easy to follow, and I haven't had too much trouble finding the ingredients. I love the section on exfoliates, they are great. I also use the sun balms and oil recipes a lot. I am going to try the love potions next!
My sister read over the book and wanted it, so I purchased it for her for a birthday present!
Book Review: Thorough and amazing Summary: 5 Stars
I just received this book for Christmas and it is simply fantastic. The author spends the first part of the book overviewing skin, hair, nails, and the various conditions each can be in. She then describes the various natural ingredients one can use to create the beauty/bath products before diving into the recipes themselves. I found it very insightful and engaging. I will definitely refer back to it again and again as I continue to make my own bath products. This is a great book.
