I ordered this book and Mosby's nursing pdr at the same time after having Mosby's recommended by a professor at college. I was and continue to be impressed with this book. The way it is set up makes it easy to find prescription drugs and it contains a wealth of information. I would highly recommend it

This work includes drugs recently approved by the FDA as well as new indications for established drugs. This work covers: revised and new administration routes (dosage forms); mechanism by which the drug achieves its therapeutic effect and pharmacokinetics parameters; and, newly identified side effects and drug interactions; guidelines for administration of drugs, including changes in dosing and use recommendations; and, nursing considerations, including assessment and monitoring of patient therapy.Pharmacology Books
