Book Reviews of Pajama Time!

Book Review: Fun for the entire family
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this book for my 8 month old nephew for Christmas last year. At first he wasn't really interested in the book. But after his mom read it to him a few times, he really got into it. He loves to point at the colorful "jammies" that the animals are wearing in the book. He also loves the Pjammy to the left...Pjammy to the right....part. We read it like a cheer and he just laughs and giggles at us. I've found it's one of his favorite books. He brings it with him everywhere he goes because it keeps him entertained. I'm going to be sure to buy more books for him because they are all as entertaining as this one is.

Book Review: A bedtime favorite for nearly 7 years!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been reading this book just about every night for the past 7 years. Actually, I don't read it anymore, this catchy bedtime story has been recited by me for many years. My older child no longer has me read this to her, but the younger one has this as part of her nightly routine. The whimsical Boynton animals go through all the steps of going to bed in a series of delightful illustrations. The kids and I just love those cute Boynton animals with their hilarious expressions.

I buy this book for all of my friends and family members when they are expecting a new baby. It's the perfect bedtime story.

Book Review: One of Ana's favorites.
Summary: 5 Stars

My 2-year-old (in may) niece loves this. She recognizes it by name, pulls it out to request it, everything.

I don't find it hard to read at all. I agree, it probably *should* be sung, but I find it simple to just chant the book.

The only caveat I'd put here is that you should read this book *first* in your bedtime routine. It's a bit active, and you're likely to end up with a bouncy baby if this is the only book you read. So read Pajama Time, and then follow it up with a more calming book - Goodnight Moon, The Going to Bed Book, The Napping House, whatever you read to your kid.

Book Review: Great for parents too
Summary: 5 Stars

When reading to my daughter, she usually insists that I read the same book repeatedly throughout the day. And we read so many books everyday. But this book is one I never get tired of reading. It's fun, and the reading to a musical beat is great. I guarantee that it will get any terrible two moment out the door in seconds. When my daughter or I are in a bad mood, we reach for this book and we start to smile right away. The charcters are adorable and my daughter is delighted to get her pajamas on when I sing the song on the way to her room. Thank You Sandra Boynton for another terrific book.

Book Review: jamma jamma jamma jamma P.J.!
Summary: 5 Stars

My 14 month old not only loves this book, but now seems to love all books. He started, however, with this one. He would carry this book over to his mother and me to be read over and over. We would no sooner finish reading the last page, when he would turn it back to the front cover to be read again. Soon he was carrying other books over to us to read. When we were not reading to him we would find him in his room paging through this book trying to imitate the sounds we read to him. I would recommend this book to any new parents looking for a book to spark their childs interest in reading.
