Book Review: Read PJ Time like a cheer and your kids will cheer!

OH-KAY!
We really loved Pajama Time around here and have a blast reading it. The first time I ever heard it was when my daughter-in-law read it to my grandson kind of like a cheerleader type cheer. The rhythms just fit right and my grandkids all love it. In fact, I teach performing arts and one year we did it as a choral reading with 1st graders with pom-poms. It was a big hit with the kids and their parents.

Book Review: Gotta Love Boynton

Every one of the Boynton books that we have my children love. My son (age 2) enjoys the repition and singy songy rythm to the words. My daughter (8 months) likes the pictures. I enjoy the fact that these are not books I get tired of reading three and four times a night. Boynton books are wonderful and this one is a lot of fun. My son likes to take this one to bed with him and look at the pictures of the animals in pajamas. Very cute.

We've checked out a number of Boynton books from our library, and Pajama Time is the first one my daughter has really loved. She just turned two, and she is always asking for "Jammie Time" to be read to her, especially when we are getting her ready for bed. I like how the book can be sung, which always brings a smile to my daughter's face. The pictures and words are silly and seem to be very appealing to toddlers.Book Review: I LOVE THIS BOOK!

Every night, my daughter [now 20 months] has me read at least 10 books; however there is no book I love better than reading this book. It is written in a sing song manner which makes it sheer fun!!! I could read this book 20 times and still love the experience. And best of all, my daughter and I have developed a whole routine around the book. This book was one of the staples in our household. When it was time to put those pajamas on and get ready for bed, this is what we read to our daughter. It's got sort of a sing-song rhythm to it, it's funny, durable (cardboard pages), and memorable. I purchased this for my great niece because it was such a positive part of my daughter's childhood. Timeless! Great buy. You can't go wrong.
