Book Reviews of Pat the Bunny (Touch and Feel Book)Book Review: Not the most entertaining or high quality - was a bit disappointed Summary: 1 Stars
My daughter was excited to get this book as she had the "Pat the Bunny" stuffed animal. This was the most substandard book I think I have ever purchased. It was only slightly more than loose-leaf paper bound by plastic rings. It was already falling apart after one read-through. I know this is supposed to be a classic, but the content itself was horrendous - almost nothing about "Pat the Bunny" and my daughter was very upset with how boring and little bunny content there was in this book. Get the stuffed animal - DONT bother with the book!
Book Review: Get your baby involved Summary: 5 Stars
A friend gave this book to my son for his first birthday. At first, he didn't mind it at all, since the cover is in pastel colors. But soon after, it became his favorite book! He does all the tricks ahead of me, like patting the bunny and putting his finger in the hole. He just loves it! We read and play with it at least 5 times (yes, 5 times, i memorized it already!) each time he picks it up, which is at least 2 or 3 times a day. Instead of just reading to him, get him involved with books. And this is the perfect book for the job!
Book Review: a childhood favorite!! Summary: 5 Stars
I am 26, but I think that the first time i read Pat the Bunny, by Dorothy Kunhardt, was when I was 2 years old!!! And as I have continued to be an avid reader throughout my lifetime, I will never forget this classic!! The simplistic yet interactive book comes to life for a child's eyes and mind. It really gives the child a chance to feel like they are "part" of the book. Even though we are so far into technology and children spend time on computers, Pat the Bunny is a favorite because of its' appeal to old fashioned reading!!!
Book Review: Delightful interactive experience Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second copy of this wonderful book. My grandson wore out the first copy and now his younger sister is enjoying the new book. Favorite page, hands down, is the peek-a-boo page but my grandbabies participate in every page, looking, sniffing, feeling, waving. My granddaughter spied the book on our shelf and got very aggitated that we didn't see it and were offering her every other thing. When Pat the Bunny was handed to her, she smiled hugely, hugged it to her chest and then brought it to me to read. What could be better?
Book Review: Cute, interactive Baby book Summary: 5 Stars
All 3 of my boys have just loved this book. I received it as a baby shower gift and have since ordered it for other moms-to-be. This is a great beginner book in which the baby can interact with the book playing peek-a-boo, feeling Daddy's face, etc. I think this book helped spawn a love of books for each of my kids. I would recommend this book for age 4 months to ??? My older kids sometimes join in the reading with their baby brother. Our one book has held up well, and I look forward to having it for my grandchildren!
