Book Reviews of Peek-A Who?Book Review: guessing game board book! Summary: 5 Stars
This small and simple board book is sure to fascinate even the youngest babies.
Besides the vibrant colors with black outlines, every other page has a die-cut hole with a visual clue of stripes, spots, and pattern of colors. Turn the page and "Peek a MOO!" reveals a black-and-white cow; "Peek a BOO!" a green ghost; "Peek a ZOO!" a crowd of animals; and the last one, "Peek a YOU," has a mirror insert.
This guessing game board book is a highly interactive read with easy to memorize rhymes.

Book Review: Peek-A- What??? Summary: 5 Stars
We recieved this book as a gift, and I was really skeptical that it would be any good. I'm pretty selective about what I read to my son but this is the first book that ever really held my son's attention. In fact the first time I read it to him at 9 months he was roll over hysterical with the kind of laughter we got from physically tickling him.
No it doesn't have a fancy plot or any real life lessons but the simple rhymes and busy colors make my son laugh. If he finds the book on the floor he will try to flip through the pages himself, he always takes a moment to study the mirrored page at the end. This simple book is definately a favorite.
Book Review: Better than Grow Up! Not as good as Puppy Peek-a-Boo Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this book on recommendations from other parents when trying to find another board book as good as Puppy Peek-a-Boo (with illustrations by Lisa McCue). We purchased this book and another by Nina Laden, Grow Up!
My daughter enjoys this one better than Grow Up! and not as much as Puppy Peek-a-Boo. The illustrations are simpler, and I find myself wishing the book was longer each time we read it. But she does enjoy it and I think she will like it even more when she's a bit older (perhaps around 2 years of age).
If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would. It's cute and fun to read together... but I wish it had just a bit more to it.
Book Review: Great for any age baby Summary: 5 Stars
my baby loved this as soon as we got it, i think she was about 3 months old. she still loves it at 8 months. she gets super excited when we open it and now likes to turn the pages herself. it's very entertaining, perfect for a baby. we don't really read her other books because this one is her favorite.
update: she still pulls this one out at 12 mo and gets a kick out of it, especially if you make a big deal out of each "reveal".each page has a cut out and then when you turn it, you reveal something that has been hidden, as in peek-a, then on the next page "choo-choo!" with a pciture of a train. very entertaining for a baby.
Book Review: Unexpectedly good Summary: 5 Stars
I chose this book for my daughter (3 mos. at the time, 9 mos. now) because of the reviews, but when I got it I thought "This is boring." Well, it may seem boring to me, but my daughter loves it. Her face lights up when she sees it, and she will even stop what she is doing and come to me if I am holding the book. At first she seemed to like the simple rhymes. Then she started kissing herself when she got to the mirror at the end. Now she likes putting her hands through the holes in the "peek" pages. Somehow the simplicity of it all makes it endlessly fascinating. When I want my daughter to calm down, this is the book I turn to first.
