Book Review: good resource

This was a required text for a class I was taking. The reading is dry, but serves the purpose. I have tried to use the text since the class as a quick reference when patients ask questions about medications, but it is not organized in that fashion.
Summary of Pharmacology in Rehabilitation
In this volume new drugs are described in detail and the philosophy for developing and using new drug therapies is explained. Emphasis is placed on how newer drugs have changed the traditional treatment paradigm for specific diseases such as cardiovascular illness, respiratory disease and psychological disorders. The author reviews the reasons existing medications are used in new ways, and explains the rationale for using these medications more effectively. All chapters contain current and extensive references, and there is detailed coverage of how specific medications can influence certain physical therapy and rehabilitation procedures.Occupational Therapy Books
