Book Reviews of Picasso & Lump: A Dachshund's OdysseyBook Review: Doxie lover Summary: 5 Stars
If you are a sucker for dachshunds, this is a great book. It's a great book, even if you aren't a doxie lover. The stories and accompanying black and white photos of Lump,Picasso and his art are wonderful in themselves. Who knew Picasso had a red dachshund named Lump???
Book Review: Artist and Dog Summary: 5 Stars
This book presents a charming side of Picasso, demonstrating his affection for a sweet dachshund named Lump. The photos show Picasso's universal, gullible side in allowing himself to be wonderfully manipulated by a dog ! The images of them together are unforgettable.
Book Review: Who would have thought that a strong painter would have such a tender heart for his dogs. Summary: 5 Stars
This book is one that all dog owners will love. The famous artist who did many wonderful paintings, held, hugged and loved Lump--and even fed him from the table--like many dog owners do.
I highly recommend it. This book is a keeper.
Book Review: Lump is the Star Summary: 4 Stars
I found this book to be a great tribute to Lump, the Dachshund. I learned more about Picasso's work (was never a fan) but was happy to learn more about him as a man, because of his obvious affection for Lump. Great photos.
