Book Review: Loyal EDJ fan, but I really didn't like this book!!

Where do i begin? This book sucked at the beginning. It took me a long time to finish this book because I kept on putting it down to start another book. But when the sex came into play it go interesting, but at the end I wasnt left with the feeling that I could read this book again. I just thought, why did I buy this? I could have borrowed it. But Ima keep on supporting him, I have brought all this books except Genevieve. I was disappointed in Thieve's Paradise but I loved Chasing Destiny. Is it just me or did anyone pick up that the mother from CD showed up in SWS/WWE, but she had a different name?Book Review: Im Speechless..

I just finshed this book and I must say that it is an emotional ride. You feel every emotion that the protaginist Nia Simone Bijou feels in this novel. Dickey did an excellent of job of creating a plot that was emotionally and sexually driven without becoming too mundane or graphic. The end left me yearning for more! I need more Nia, KiKi, Karl, Mark, and Jewell. I hope this wasnt the end of their stories. I feel like I need a prologue. Hint!
I agree with other reviews in saying that this is much different from any other EJD read but I enjoyed it just the same!

I'm not even to page 200 in this horrible book as of yet and it's not looking good. The only reason I'm attempting to finish it is because, against warning of a good friend, I purchsaed it for almost 20 bucks. I'm conveinced the people on here that stated they liked the book, were hired by Mr. Dickey himself to promote. I am/was a HUGE fan before this "book" was released. Sleeping wth Enenmies and Waking with Strangers were GREAT works....He should have left this one alone. And though I'm not to page 200 yet, it seems quiet predictable where this plot is going.Book Review: A Masterpiece Of Minimalism

Eric Jerome Dickey..why Why WHY???.. I am truly disappointed in this book. Since when did shallow characters who lives their lives in deciet become entertaining??. I literally had to FORCE myself to finish the book just wishing and hoping that at SOME POINT it would all make sense. Unfortunately that time never came for me. The characters lacked well CHARACTER, no depth whatsoever. I have read every single one of EJD books and of all, I must say that I HATE this book. I hope the next one will pull him out of whatever slump he is inBook Review: Pleasureful

EJD...Kudos is all I can say. You have done the thing brother!!! Not only did this one here have me at my desk squirming around with delight,I could actually feel the characters. I won't give away the entire story like some others on here giving reviews a.k.a. cliff notes, but I will say that EJD held me captive with his choice of words and intense descriptions.I was Nia, I felt every word and I was pleased with this work. EJD if you are reading this....I loved this Pleasure...in many ways. Thank You for another job well done.
