Book Reviews of PleasureBook Review: Two Thumbs Down Summary: 1 Stars
I am not finished reading this book and I already hate it. The book is erotic I admit, but it gets very repetitive and boring very quickly. I skipped through sooo many pages and felt like I didn't miss a thing. I am so tired of seeing the words "zipless", "singsong" and "yoni". The detailed descriptions of Atlanta was annoying too. I honestly don't care what highway they use. I am only committing to complete this book because a friend recommmened it, otherwise I would have given up at Chapter Two. EJD disappoints again!
Book Review: Pleasure Summary: 4 Stars
This is my first time reading Eric Jerome Dickey novel, wow what a introduction to extreme erotica. A good read raw thoughts, raw emotions, Nia, Michael, Karl and Ki Ki each character touches a part of someones fantasy to the level of acting upon that fantasy. I found that the sexual acts were careless not once was a condom used at any point, but there are people in the world today who I am sure are careless in their sexual escapades much like the fictional characters in this novel. Good read a absolute page turner.
Book Review: Pleasure Summary: 5 Stars
The book is hot hot, I had to put it down for a while. Mr. Dickey, has gone way out the box. Nia is a ghost writer who meets two guy who happen to be twins. The only way to tell them apart, one has tattoos (Karl) and other is married (Mark). They met on top of Stone Mountain Park after jogging. Then we have Ms. Kiki Sunshine, that is all I will say about her you have to read the book to find out what part she plays in the story. When you read this book have cool drink with you you will need it
Book Review: Did EJD really write this Pleasure? Summary: 1 Stars
I find it hard to believe that EJD really wrote "Pleasure". I have read EVERY book written by EJD and this one was horrible! Usually, I can't put the book down, it took me two months to read this one, I actually had to put it away and read other books, then come back to it. SEX! SEX! SEX! No concrete plot. I know it's fiction, but some of this writing was just unrealistic and overdramatic. Pages and pages of redundancy. Pages and pages of absolutely nothing. I Hope the next book is better!
Book Review: I can relate Summary: 5 Stars
This was my first book by EJD and I loved it. I can relate to Nia's experiances and conflict with innerself. This book made me look at myself and my own desires and how I view ME and not worry about the opinons of others. For those who may view this book as porn, may have missed what is being said, so this book may not be for you. One would have to be willing to admit to themselves what desires lie within, and of course after you admit them, decide rather to give in or to deny them.
